GudDash takes data protection seriously. This policy describes which data we collect on this website, why, and what happens to it.

Data controller

Principle

We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDPA) and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is only collected when there is a clear purpose.

Waitlist

When you add your email address to the waitlist, we store only that address and the time of sign-up. Purpose: to notify you once the beta launches.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 revDPA). You can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to hello@gud.ch.

Server logs

Our hosting provider collects technical access data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) to ensure operation. These logs are deleted after 30 days and are not linked to your email address.

Cookies

This website only sets analytics cookies if you explicitly allow them via the consent banner (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymisation). Beyond that, we use technically necessary localStorage to remember your theme, language and consent choice. That data never leaves your browser.

Third parties

Fonts (Space Grotesk, DM Sans, IBM Plex Mono) are self-hosted on the same server as this site — no third-party CDN call, no IP address handed to anyone else just to render text.

No Meta pixel. No advertising trackers. No cross-site tracking. If you allow it, Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymisation) measures which pages get read — nothing more.

Storage location

Any waitlist data is processed via a GDPR-compliant provider and stored on servers within the EU. No data transfer to the USA.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and withdrawal of your consent. Requests to hello@gud.ch.
